Some of the plants I sell may have recently been repotted or taken from the parent plant so may be short on root but once repotted will root down fairly quickly given the right conditions.

Plants will be sent to you bare rooted and mailed to you via Royal Mail Tracked 24 (UK orders).

All plants grown at Ian’s Haworthia Store (IHS) are grown in greenhouse conditions and in natural light.
Please note all photographs are taken in daylight with the use of an iPhone camera. Photographs are not photoshopped or enhanced in any way.

Growing media comprises of easily obtainable components, such as, Pumice, Molar, Perlite, John Innes No2 or 3, Coir, Clay Balls, Horticultural Grit and Silver Sand.
Suitable plant foods low in nitrogen, such as, Chempak No8 and various cactus and succulent fertilisers are readily available and used sparingly.

N.B. Growing mediums and methods are suggestions and are a guide only. What is suitable for one may not be suitable for another, as other growing conditions can also vary greatly.
Rainwater is used whenever possible and both the pots and mesh covers used are obtainable under the pots and sundries section of the website.

Buyers from outside the UK please take into account your laws and customs when ordering. I cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery, non-delivery or damage to goods. Full tracking details will be provided.

We try to post every Monday & Thursday, however, there may occasionally be a delay to allow drying time for plants as they are unpotted once your order is placed.

Thank you for your interest, good growing.
Ian
